We use our nose to determine if a place smell good or bad. But does a fresh smell also means the air is clean? With modern sensor technology we can extend the sensibility of our nose and determine which gasses the air we breath contains. The wearable AQAb takes this one step further. Every two seconds it measures three gasses (CO, NO2, O3) which are indicative of air quality. The results are immediately displayed on the build in display of the vest. Through the zipper the wearer can activate the system and indicate her impression of the air quality.
A mobile phone sends the data to an online database. On the accompanying website you can look up all the measurements on a map.
